其中一名初步確診的41歲女子，涉及L452R變種病毒株，屬於本地源頭不明個案，她在油麻地紅茶館檢疫酒店等地方，做兼職清潔員，患者住的香港仔利港中心被列為「受限區域」，政府目標在今早7時半完成行動。
呼吸系統專科醫生梁子超相信，個案與檢疫酒店的輸入個案相關，有待評估個案傳播至社區的風險。
