醫管局表示，香港佛教醫院護養病房再多兩名男病人確診，該病房累計20人感染，涉及16名病人及4名員工。醫管局總行政經理李立業說，初步相信情況應已受控，有關病房已徹底消毒，亦已跟進個案。
另外，博愛醫院田家炳護養院再多4人確診，涉及一名63歲女病人及3名員工，累計6人感染。
李立業表示，近日數間醫院出現院內感染，但環境樣本屬陰性，員工用膳時沒有交叉感染的機會，醫管局將加強員工檢測。
