衞生防護中心表示，再發現多4宗涉及Omicron變種病毒BA.2.12.1，及兩宗BA.4的輸入個案。
衞生防護中心傳染病處主任張竹君表示，涉及Omicron變種病毒BA.2.12.1的累計宗數增至11宗，新發現的4宗個案，有3宗在機場找到，3名患者分別來自荷蘭和美國；餘下1宗是早前在美國經南韓抵港，於第5日採樣時發現。
至於兩宗BA.4個案，同樣在機場檢測中發現，兩名患者分別本月6日從埃塞俄比亞，及本月7日由美國經日本抵港。
