烏克蘭總統澤連斯基早前說，大約100名平民已經從馬里烏波爾亞速鋼鐵廠撤離，正前往烏克蘭控制的城市扎波羅熱。俄方就說，有80人離開。
有從鋼鐵廠疏散的人說，已經兩個幾月無見過陽光。亦有留守的烏軍表示，仍有幾百名平民滯留廠內，估計要多最少兩次行動，才能夠讓所有人離開。
