警方正調查元朗昨日一宗交通意外，一架私家車衝上行人路，造成六人受傷，一名55歲私家車女司機涉嫌危險駕駛被捕。
案發在昨日傍晚六點半，涉案私家車在元朗合財街倒車時撞到另一架私家車，再向前駛時撞向一輛裝滿瓷磚的唧車，最後衝上行人路撞到欄杆及一個路牌。五名途人被瓷磚碎片擊中或閃避時受傷。
涉案私家車的車頭損毀，55歲女司機一度被困車內，由警員協助離開車廂。這名女司機涉嫌危險駕駛被捕，已獲准保釋候查，下月向警方報到。
