屏東高樹鄉有多筆國有地，因地點偏遠、無人監管，過去常有不肖業者盜採砂石，偷倒垃圾、廢棄物等。縣府跟國產署花5年回填土地後，再將不適合耕作的農地結合綠能轉型，打造光電示範計畫區，今天正式啟用，預計未來每年可發5千多萬度電，供應高樹鄉約9100戶家庭用電。
