蒙古國單日新增18宗新冠病毒死亡病例，屬當地新高。另外，蒙古國過去24小時新增2662宗病例，累計確診292591宗，累計1116宗死亡病例。
蒙古國自8月中以來，疫情在首都烏蘭巴托和各省迅速蔓延，但由於床位短缺等原因，目前僅約2萬名患者住院治療，超過6萬名輕症患者居家隔離治療。衛生部說，醫護人員嚴重短缺，長期處於超負荷工作，也無法招募足夠數量醫護人員。
蒙古國約340萬人口中的近7成人，已接種至少一劑新冠疫苗，超過6成半人完成兩劑接種。
