一名前警長涉嫌未經許可從8名警員接受多筆貸款合共21萬6千元，以及向其中一名警員索取貸款20萬元，被控共12項控罪，包括1項訂明人員索取利益罪名及11項訂明人員接受利益罪名，星期五在粉嶺裁判法院提堂。
廉署表示，早前接獲警方轉介的貪污投訴後展開調查，被告1995年加入警隊，其後辭職並於本年2月底離職，本案於2019至2020年發生，被告當時為警長，先後駐守邊界警區特別職務隊及落馬洲分區軍裝巡邏隊一個小隊。
