歐洲議會大比數通過決議，暫停批准中歐全面投資協定，只要中國一日不解除對歐盟政界人士的制裁，歐洲議會就不可能恢復處理，決議案又譴責中國侵犯新疆人權及抗壓香港的民主。
中方表示，始終抱有誠意促進雙方合作，希望歐方與中方相向而行。
