佐迪艾克海運公司表示，旗下一艘貨船，當地星期四在阿曼附近的阿拉伯海海域遭襲，兩名船員死亡。
這間國際船舶管理公司，總部位於英國倫敦，公司持有人為以色列商人。公司在官網發表聲明，表示正調查襲擊事件，暫時懷疑為海盜所為，又指兩名遇難船員，分別是羅馬尼亞及英國國籍。
另外據以色列傳媒報道，涉事貨輪從坦桑尼亞前往阿聯酋，途中遇襲；貨輪懸掛利比里亞國旗，船主是日本人。
